I am very bad about updating my blog.

I’m sorry.

I ask myself how I might get better at it, and the only answer I can come up with is “leave the house.”

Lately I haven’t been writing because I don’t leave my house much, except to go to work.

Why is this, you may ask?

Is it agoraphobia?

Is it because Vancouver’s leaden skies have a constant jones on for moistening Matties?

Is it because my scintillating sense of décor gives me a boner?

No. It is because I got a kitten.

When I started this miniscule blog of mine, I thought it would be to improve my writing and make a few people laugh. These things, I have apparently done to some extent.

But I did think about what kind of blogger I wanted to be.

I did not want to bitch about work.

I did not want to bitch about politics, personal or otherwise.

I did not want to bitch about relationships (or lack thereof).

But above all, I did not want to be one of those bloggers who only writes about their pet.

So I have to ask myself...do I stay home and play with the kitten, or do I go out in order to find things to blog about?

I’m going on an adventure starting tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will yield some juicy, juicy blogfruit.

More later. Henceforth, I resolve to be a better blogger. Kindly hold me to it, kids.
